What will you be doing

Are you an experienced 1st Commercial Vehicle Mechanic looking to take the next step or do you already have experience as a Working Foreman? Read on!

Our workshop, BusPartners Almere, is looking for a Working Foreman. This is a great combination role where you will work on public transport buses in the region, assist in the warehouse, handle administration tasks, and manage the workshop!

The role of Working Foreman is perfect for you if you have a positive personality with an eye for detail! You enjoy working with technology and can effectively solve complex problems for our customers.

Some of your tasks include:

  • You perform complex diagnostics to identify faults;

  • You carry out maintenance and repair work on vehicles;

  • You receive repair requests and schedule appointments;

  • You coordinate workshop activities with your colleagues and schedule them;

  • You maintain contact with our customers and various other parties, providing updates on the repair progress;

  • You ensure vehicles are correctly received and delivered;

  • You create work orders, handle invoicing and administration;

  • You ensure the workshop has the right parts on time.

What we ask of you

As a Working Foreman at BusPartners Almere, you will interact with colleagues, external suppliers, and existing and new customers. Your social and communication skills make this easy for you!

When things get busy, you keep an overview and do not get stressed easily. If needed, you can handle multiple tasks at once. You do all this while being very precise!

We also find the following important:

  • You have completed training as a 1st mechanic (EBAT);

  • Proficient in both Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing;

  • In addition to the above, you are accurate, skilled, customer-oriented, and quality-focused;

  • You have a passion for or affinity with buses.
