Are you an enthusiastic Commercial Vehicle Mechanic who works accurately in a challenging environment? Then we are looking for you!
At Airportpartners, we are looking for a driven Commercial Vehicle Mechanic who performs maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on the critical vehicle fleet of Schiphol. You will have a workplace where you work with great colleagues on fuel and electric commercial vehicles. Of course, you will have the opportunity to further develop yourself through training and courses.
For this position, we are looking for someone who can switch between work orders effectively and continues to work accurately. Will you be working as a Commercial Vehicle Mechanic at Airportpartners? Great! These will be your tasks:
You carry out maintenance on regular fuel and electric passenger and commercial vehicles;
You perform various repairs;
You work on solving complex malfunctions, both mechanical and electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic;
Your tasks involve fuel systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, transmission systems, brake systems, engine condition, electrical systems, and tires;
You also provide support to the rest of the Schiphol fleet and buses operating for Schiphol.
Airportpartners is the main contractor for the Schiphol fleet. At Airportpartners, you maintain and repair vehicles that you usually do not encounter in a 'normal' garage. The fleet consists of various (electric) passenger cars, commercial vehicles, fire vehicles, and the snow fleet.
When you work at Airportpartners, you are part of the team that guarantees the correct operational deployment 24/7. An example of this is that you are also present when it snows. With your presence, we guarantee the highest possible deployment of the snow fleet.

As a Commercial Vehicle Mechanic, you regularly switch between work orders and must continue to work very accurately.

It is nice if you have a flexible attitude and no 9 to 5 mentality. We find it very important that our customers are always helped quickly and professionally. Defective vehicles arrive at any time of the day and need to be repaired as soon as possible;
Furthermore, as a mechanic at Airportpartners, you also have a very customer-friendly attitude. You are pleasant in dealing with customers and colleagues.
What you bring:
You have completed training as a Commercial Vehicle Technician (BAT or EBAT) or are willing to obtain this;
If you also have the qualification to work on electric vehicles, that's a plus;
Affinity with (electric) passenger and commercial vehicles and various types of builds;
Experience in solving complex malfunctions of the mentioned vehicle types;
It is a plus if you have APK certificates.
You will have plenty of opportunities to grow with us. You are therefore willing to follow training and courses for this industry:
What will you achieve:
Field authorization, giving you access to airside;
Aboma for inspecting vehicles without license plates;
Certificates such as APK and for working on electric vehicles.

1st mechanic (completed EBAT): €3,000 to €3,800
Technical Specialist (completed level 4): €3,400 to €4,000;
